About Medina Azahara

Medina Azahara, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2018, is one of the greatest testimonies to the splendor of the Caliphate of Córdoba during the 10th century. Known as the “Shining City”, this ancient palace-city allows visitors to discover the political, artistic and architectural grandeur achieved by Córdoba during the Andalusian period.

What to See During the Tour

With this night tour of Medina Azahara, you will explore the archaeological site accompanied by an expert guide, while the lighting transforms the ruins into a setting full of history and mystery. You will visit the different areas open to the public and enjoy a different perspective of the remains of this ancient 10th-century palace-city.
